Our Artisan Breads

Hamilton Bread Co. is proud to create bread that is a true nod to the old- European artisan breads. We start each dough with a lower protien flour than most high processed breads and water. The dough is allowed to sit and ferment which hydrates the flour properly and in turn results in a perfectly chewy texture and light crust. This process takes up to 24 hours for some of our doughs and although it is a long process, we feel it is the right way to achieve a true artisan loaf free of perservatives, additives or dough stabilizers. Each loaf is divided and shaped by the hands of our small group of dedicated bread bakers. We take pride in each loaf that is formed and the wholesome ingredients on the inside.
