Our Story

Megg's Cafe has been serving modern and innovative Central Texas cuisine since March of 2010. With a philosophy of in-house production and careful attention to detail, Megg's strives to provide a fun, relaxed, simple yet layered dining experience through breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner.

Deeply invested in the farming community of Central Texas and using local products whenever possible, the menu evolves with the seasons. This commitment to seasonality also extends to our hand-selected craft beer and wine list. With a focus on Texas craft beer and a constantly developing wine list, Megg's always offers the perfect libation to fit the dish.

Megg's is owned and operated by the McCaffrey family with multi-generational roots in the area. Holly, Jenni, Corey and Meghan strive to foster community relations in an attempt to encourage and cultivate the eating community of Temple and the surrounding areas.
